Body Aesthetic Surgery
Overview of cosmetic body procedures
A growing number of men are now enjoying the benefits of Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, which helps them look and feel better. In our clinic, all techniques of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery can be applied successfully and safely, in order to give you the best possible results.
Whether you want to improve the signs of aging or correct a specific problem, great results can be achieved while maintaining masculinity.
Our clinic offers a range of surgeries to improve the body, including liposuction and abdominoplasty.
Medication
In our clinic, a complete medical history is always taken before each surgery. As a precaution, over-the-counter medicines or herbal products should not be taken before and for 3 days after surgery. It is also considered necessary to avoid taking non-steroid, anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin (salospir), ibuprofen (Nurofen), diclofenac, and any other anticoagulant or antiplatelet drug.
Smoking
If you are a smoker you should try to stop smoking for at least 1 week before and 1 week after the surgery as this will dramatically reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and help achieve the best possible result.
Liposuction
Liposuction can be used to treat areas of the body that have unwanted excess fat. Men usually deposit excess fat around their waist and around the organs inside the abdomen. This fat tends to give the appearance of a “barrel” in the chest and abdomen.
Although Liposuction is considered to be an excellent form of treatment for men, it can only be used to remove fat under the skin and not intra-abdominal fat. Therefore, since most of the excess fat comes from fat in the abdomen, only total weight loss can help.
The Liposuction technique is based on the active removal of fat by suction through incisions in the skin (PAL method) that are as small as 3-4 millimeters.
This is followed by passive thinning of the skin in the immediate postoperative period to give the final result of the thinned and improved body contour. Therefore, it depends on the skin’s ability to shed. This ability varies depending on the area, quality, and elasticity of the skin as well as the age of the patient. The J-Plasty device can be used as an ancillary method for further shedding (see here for more details). To remove fat, 3-4 mm incisions are made, which when healed will be almost invisible.
Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty is ideal for men who have excess skin, fat, or stretch marks in the abdomen, usually as a result of excessive weight loss. This operation is mainly used to reshape the contour of the abdomen, leads to partial weight loss, and is in no way a means of treating obesity.
In male patients, classical abdominoplasty involves the detachment of the skin from the underlying abdominal muscles and the removal of adipose tissue and skin between the navel and the adolescent. One of the main advantages of classic abdominoplasty is that before suturing the skin, the underlying abdominal muscles are tightened in order to give a much more improved shape and reduce the waist circumference.
The postoperative scar will extend from about one iliac crest to the other, will be quite red at first, and will fade satisfactorily over time, but may take one to two years to reach this point.
