Endoscopic Facelift
The fall of the forehead area over time can lead to a drop of eyebrows that will partially cover the area of the eyelids, thus giving a “tired” or “sad” face to the face.
Why Choose Brow Lift?
The fall of the forehead area over time can lead to a drop of eyebrows that will partially cover the area of the eyelids, thus giving a “tired” or “sad” face to the face. As a result of this, the forehead acquires several wrinkles as it attempts to keep the eyebrow area upright. This surgery can correct these changes by lifting and changing the shape of the eyebrow, where necessary.
The Operation In Short
Brow Lift is performed with two different methods, open and endoscopic, where is the method most commonly used by Mr. Konstantinos Benetatos. All methods include the detachment of the forehead tissues, their rehabilitation and stabilization at a higher point until their full healing occurs.
Open Brow Lift
This classic technique involves removing the excess skin behind the hairline when it is pulled up. Although this technique has excellent results, it is considered obsolete as it has a longer recovery and recovery time and leaves a big scar that is still hidden inside the hair. Certainly, there are still specific indications of its use, which will be discussed with Mr. Benetato during your session.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
Endoscopic Forehead Recovery is also the state-of-the-art technique. Small holes are used on the skin («keyhole surgery») behind the hair line, through which a surgery is performed with the help of an endoscope. The area of the forehead is raised and retained with special sutures while the skin and underlying hanging tissues heal.
Cuts / Scars
The incisions in Endoscopic Front / Urethral Upper Seizure are made at the frontiers of the anterior hair line, healing extremely well and being very difficult to distinguish. In patients undergoing Open Forehead Restoration, the incision created is also hidden in the hair, but this can not be the case for patients with baldness or hair thinning as the incision will be evident.
Medicines
A complete medical history should be taken before each surgery. As a precautionary measure, doctors without prescription or herbal products / drugs should not be taken before surgery and for 3 days afterwards. Also, strict non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as salospir, ibuprofen (Nurofen), diclofenac (Voltaren) and any other anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy should be avoided in consultation with the treating physician. It would also be very helpful to bring a list of any prescription medicines you receive for your preoperative control.
Smoking
If you are a smoker / smoker, try to stop smoking for at least five days before and after surgery, as this will dramatically reduce the likelihood of complications.
Recovery from the Eyebrow Recovery Operation
